Shame is one of the most painful emotions we can experience.
It can sit quietly in the background of our lives - shaping the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and what we believe we deserve.
Sometimes it whispers things like:
“Something is wrong with me.”
“I shouldn’t feel this way.”
“If people really knew me, they wouldn’t accept me.”
Many of us carry shame silently for years, without ever being taught what it really is or how to work with it.
This workshop is an opportunity to change that.
In this free online session, I’ll gently guide you through a new way of understanding shame — not as something broken inside you, but as an emotion with a purpose that can be understood, softened, and transformed.

The surprising role shame plays in our emotional system and why it developed in the first place.
How shame actually feels in the body
Learn to recognize the physical and emotional signals of shame so you can meet it with awareness & support instead of spiralling.
The qualities of shame
How shame influences our thoughts, behaviours, and sense of self - often in ways we don’t realise.
How to work with shame instead of fighting it
Practical ways to respond to shame with compassion and understanding rather than self-criticism.
Simple exercises that bring relief
Gentle practices you can use to soften shame, regulate your nervous system, and reduce the emotional weight you carry.
Shame thrives in silence and isolation.
But when we learn to understand it, something powerful happens:
We begin to see ourselves with more compassion.

Hi, I'm Diana Bird,
I’m a Neuro Emotional Rewiring Coach, dedicated to helping people break free from cycles of overwhelm, panic and dread and release the weight of stress in their lives.
Through deep, transformative 1:1 work, I guide my clients toward greater resilience, emotional freedom, and lasting inner strength.
But this work isn’t just what I do - it’s what changed me.
For years, I battled deep anxiety, chronic overwhelm, and the terrifying frustration of feeling trapped.
I could see my own emotional struggles mirroring in my children, shaping their experiences and affecting the harmony of our family life. I knew I needed radical change - but everything I had tried only provided temporary relief.
Then I discovered Neuro Emotional Rewiring, and everything shifted.
This wasn’t just about managing stress; it was about rewiring my nervous system at the deepest level. As I healed, I saw my family transform alongside me - simply through the ripple effect of my own emotional shifts.
Today, I no longer feel at the mercy of my emotions. I have a deep well of inner strength, peace, and resilience to navigate life’s challenges. And the most powerful part? I’ve been able to pass these tools on to my children, equipping them with emotional intelligence and self-trust for life.
