Why do we get stuck in Stress & Overwhelm?


Recorded Lesson: When we have had traumatic experiences, when emotions haven't felt safe to process through our bodies, or when we have lived in experiences of too much for too long, our nervous system gets stuck in the stress response of survival-mode.


Live Session: Guided Practices to establish safety within your body, to release overwhelm, stress and start to establish a foundation of inner calm. Followed by a Q&A.

Identifying & releasing our patterns of overwhelm


Recorded Lesson: How we recognise our unique stress and survival responses. You will be learning and practising techniques that work with different sensations - from a desire to run, to a desire to shut down and hide, to the desire to argue or the compulsion to ‘people please’ and fix other people's emotional experiences.


Live Session: Guided Practices to establish safety within your body, so that you can start to orient towards safety & calm - and know how to always return to this internal state. Followed by the Q&A.

How to release trauma & emotions


Recorded lessons: Learn how to gently, and slowly release trauma and emotions from past experiences that are still repeating in your body. So you can start to feel lighter, with less heavy emotional load.


Live Session: Guided trauma and emotional releasing session. Followed by a Q&A.

Core emotional healing


Recorded lesson: You’ll learn all about why certain emotions keep repeating, and how to trace them back to their original imprinting so you can work to release and heal them at their core.

Explore the deeper emotional patterns you are holding around everyday emotional activations. I will guide you through your own practice as well as do some emotional releasing of whatever you uncover.

Live Session: Discussion & guided practices.

Deep dives into Anger, Shame, Fear & other powerful emotions


Recorded lesson: A series of lessons that explore specific emotions that we can get stuck in - like Shame, Anger and Fear. We'll be learning how to turn emotions that feel like they are punishing us - into our most powerful allies and guides to living authentically. We will also be exploring how so many of us get stuck in chronic ‘people pleasing’ ie. the Fawn response.


Live Session: Discussion and an opportunity to discuss personalised experiences and ask questions.

Powerful ways to navigate other people's emotions


Recorded lesson: This lesson is all about transforming the texture of our relationships by learning how to respond differently to other people's stress & how to not get pulled into their responses.


Live Session: Discussion about what to do when other people are in Flight, Flight, Freeze or Fawn. I’ll provide personalised support and answer all questions you might bring about the people in your life.


About me

Hello! I’m Diana,


I had been seeking an end to my inner turmoil for my whole life.


I had tried so many things too eradicate overwhelm, crippling anxiety, and my hair-trigger stress responses – to dispel anger, bubbles of depression and despair over the decades.


I found many things that helped. A myriad of meditations, talk therapy, mindfulness courses and retreats, hypnotherapy, books etc. Many things helped me a lot. However, nothing took away the persistent gnawing feeling that I was “getting life wrong”. And nothing provided an escape from what I felt were deeply self-sabotaging behaviours.


Nothing took away that deep feeling of helplessness and fear about life – it returned the second the meditation ended or I left the retreat.


Things came to a head when one summer I rented a home for a month with my family, in a place where you had to drive to really get around.


Not a difficult experience right?


But you know that’s not it, right?


Every day we would head into the village to a co-working office, and for my daughter to go to summer camp. And every day, getting into the overheated car, my family would erupt into some insane argument.


Lunches were forgotten – meltdown!


An elbow touched another elbow – meltdown!


We got locked out – meltdown!


This was the straw that broke the already many-times-broken camel’s back.


I thought: “I JUST CAN’T DO LIFE LIKE THIS ANYMORE.”


I reached out to a coach I had randomly found, who I didn’t know much about, and signed up for her core-wound healing, one-year 1-2-1 coaching package.


I just remember liking that word – core-wound healing.


“I need some of that.”


The coaching was like nothing I had experienced before.


It was the most beautiful, soothing, nurturing, loving, kind and gentle space I had ever felt.


After a few sessions I could sense that there was a deep transformative power at work.


There was no tough love, no pushiness – and certainly no judgement.


It felt safe and completely wonderful, I was instantly hooked. I was in love with this process.


I went through that year and everything changed in my life. Changes I previously thought impossible.

I healed much of my painful hypervigilance – of myself, of my kids.


6 years later – my inner state is unrecognisable. I have never felt calmer, more joyful and confident, or freer, ever before. I have escaped the overwhelming cycle of panic and dread, and unlocked true calm and confidence in my life. I can now powerfully handle life’s daily ups and downs with confidence.


I can truly relax and enjoy time off with my family, no overthinking, no worrying, fully present. I can make important decisions, and I don’t feel that nauseating panic about everything that I used to.


The techniques that got me here were so powerful yet so simple. After going through this transformation, I wanted so much to share it with others. This is what I’ve done with Mid-Life Unbound.


This course is the product of 5 years of refinement. In thousands of hours of coaching with clients, I have selected a handful of key patterns that affect mid-life folks stuck in this cycle, and the most powerful teachings and exercises that have helped hundreds of my clients escape the overwhelming cycle of panic and dread.


I am English, my husband is a photographer from California and we now live in Southern Spain. Our children are 13 and 19.
